Things to do locally.

The Normandy coast has many sights of historic significance and natural beauty.

From Omaha Beach, where Allied forces landed in France during World War II, to Mont St. Michel, one of the seven wonders of the world, to the English Channel resort towns of Deauville and Trouville, the coastline is fascinating and beautiful to visit.

The port town of Honfleur remains just as it was a century ago, and will charm you with its winding street and fishing boats. Drive a bit inland through the beautiful rolling countryside with its many farms and thatched-roofed, half-timbered houses to discover the town of Bayeux with its splendid tapestries and centuries-old lace-making tradition.

Taste Normandy's delicious apple brandy, Calvados, and the sweet or dry hard apple cider that is served with traditional crèpes.

We also provide a book packed with local, up-to date-information including great local restaurants at La Ferme
